Russell Ricketts Edge 4010 Final Refection Final Reflection of Edge Project What I wanted to do for people was something different when it came to serving others, I wanted to teach people about the basic fundamentals of sword play. What made me want to teach it was that everyone else has a similar edge project of community service (not to talk bad on community service), but I wanted to give community service a different type of twist on it. I wanted to teach people a skill that deals more with an individual’s personal learning style while having fun. Swordplay is more than just swinging an object around. What Swordplay requires is discipline, skills, techniques, but above all an intelligent mind to execute sequences of movement. Russell Ricketts 435-690-9068 185 North 400 East russellricketts@suumail.net Have You Ever Wanted to Learn the Style of Sword Play?  Cedar City, Utah, January 9-April 30th, 2018  -- This Sword Play Project was inspired by the SUU EDGE Program, The person who did this project dedicated 40+ Hours to this Edge Project to give service in a creative way that can teach others a new skill.   The SUU boffering club, hosted by Russell Ricketts meet up on Tuesday  and Wednesdays nights at 5:30-7:00 at the SUU upper quadrant grass field by the General Education Building, to teach SUU Students and Cedar City Community the art of swordsman ship. Is it safe? Yes, THIS NOT L.A.R.P., but there is mock weaponry to ensure safety among those who want to learn. Like Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Ect.   Have you ever wanted to learn something different than what anyone else learns? Have you ever wanted to do something unique and be a part of a group that teaches you sword fighting?
